What is Vaping CBD?
CBD oil is becoming very popular because of its non-intoxicating properties and it’s health benefits.
However this amazing substance has also been adapted for vaping. Usually, the liquid comes in cartridges or in refill bottles, depending on the equipment that you are using to vape with.
We try to make the experience as great-tasting as possible. To that end, there are different CBD vape liquid flavours that deliver the desired effect with an awesome flavour to boot.
CBD to be effective needs to reach certain receptors (called cannabinoid receptors) inside your brain and body. In order to do this, the CBD has to get into your bloodstream. Ingesting orally this takes longer, because it passes through your digestive system to be metabolized by your liver before finally dispersing in your bloodstream. With vaping air is inhaled into the lungs, passes through membranes and is distributed into the bloodstream which means that the delivery is more direct and, therefore, much faster.
The downside is that CBD effects from vaping do not last as long as with oral ingestion. However, most
dedicated Vapers’ will not find this a problem, they will simply dose more often when vaping CBD.
There’s no right or wrong way to take CBD. Some people prefer drops or edible variations, while others prefer vaping. If you’re unsure what you might prefer, why not try different products and methods. Of course, if you enjoy smoking anyway, vaping might be a perfect fit.
If you are on any prescribed medication, please consult your Doctor before using CBD. Although there is no evidence that this product is inherently dangerous, it’s always a good idea to ensure that there are no
contraindications when mixing with pharmaceutical chemicals.
Is there a difference between the CBD you take orally and the CBD you VAPE?
Simple answer, YES.
If you’re wanting to try CBD in your vape pen, make sure that you use a vape-specific CBD liquid. Even though the terminology is ambiguous and confusing, there is definitely a difference between CBD oil and CBD vape liquid. Some companies still refer to their CBD vape products as “vape oils,” but the more
appropriate term is CBD “vape liquid”.
CBD vape liquids are much less viscous (less syrupy) than CBD oils or tinctures If you try to use a sublingual (under the tongue) oil in a vape pen, it’s probably not going to work very well and you’ll likely just get a weird, disgusting taste in your mouth, and very little CBD.
So in short, If you are vaping, use a Vape Liquid specifically made for that use.
