Fighting Sexual Attack on University Campuses: What Works?

Intimate assault continues to be a critical difficulty among young adults era 18-24. According to Rape, misuse & Incest National circle (RAINN), feamales in this age group that in university is three times prone to experience intimate violence than females of all ages, and feamales in this generation whom aren’t attending school are 4 times more inclined.

The beginning of university seems to be an especially harmful time for students, especially freshman females and transgender, genderqueer, and nonconforming (TGQN) college students. Nearly 21per cent of TGQN college students have already been sexually attacked, versus 18per cent of non-TGQN women, and 4% of non-TGQN men.
